2016 Boston Home Decor Show10 Min.
We are thrilled to announce that Jewett Farms + Co. are exhibiting at the 2016 Boston Home Decor Show! We are teaming up with the interior design stylings of Holly Gagne Interior Design and the JF + HG booth is going to be beautiful.
The Boston Home Decor Show was launched in 2015 by Fusco & Four, who produce the hugely successful Boston Design Week. The idea behind the Boston Home Decor Show was to create a home show unlike any other, one that embraced fresh design, showcasing a broad range of furnishings, fine art, offering everything from antiques to the finest in today’s home décor.
“Boston Home Décor Show acknowledges the emergence of a younger audience for design, interested in owning iconic works of their own generation, and a less stylistically restrictive interior design embracing both old and new”. Tony Fusco and Robert Four, Co-Producers
Unlike home shows of old, in their commercial expo centers, the Boston Home Decor Show takes place at The Cyclorama at the Boston Center for the Arts. The venue itself is worth the trip, with its copper skylight dome atop a round, brick-lined 23,000-square foot space, the Cyclorama can host from 100 to 1000 guests and is located amidst victorian brownstones in Boston’s South End. The elegant simplicity of the building, which was opened in 1884 and is included on the National Register of Historic Places, makes a stunning statement on its own and yet invites a wide variety of creativity and inspiration.
The show will be a weekend of great design, learning opportunities and social events. Festivities will kick off with a gala preview on Thursday, November 17th to benefit DIFFA, Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS a group that raises awareness and grants funds to organizations that fight HIV/AIDS by providing treatment and direct care services for people living with or impacted by the disease. And Community Research Initiative of New England (CRI), an independent, nonprofit, community-based organization dedicated to leading the way in HIV/AIDS and hepatitis C clinical research and ensuring access to lifesaving HIV medications and health insurance coverage for those in need. 100% of ticket proceeds from the gala preview will be donated to DIFFA and CRI, tickets can be purchased here, gala tickets include weekend re-entry to the show and all the special programs.
Check out the schedule of events for the weekend – all special programs are complimentary with your weekend admission ticket.
