Boston Design Week 2018
3 Min.
Boston Design Week 2018 is just around the corner and we couldn’t be more excited about this year’s event! We have joined forces with Northshore magazine to present a panel discussion that will delve into the deeper meaning of sustainable design.
Beyond Sustainability: Designing an Heirloom House with Lasting Impact
April 10 @ 11:00am. Boston Design Center, Suite 626. One Design Center Place, Boston, MA 02210
RSVP at: Nshoremag.com/boston-design-week-RSVP
This panel discussion brings together local experts in sustainable residential design and will focus on creating sustainable heirloom houses. By choosing environmentally responsible practices and materials, homeowners leave a sustainable legacy for the next generation.
The discussion will also focus on how to educate clients on the importance of making sustainable choices for their projects. We’ll explore what is trending in sustainable home design and discuss the steps toward creating a home that will last—both in function and form. We’ll touch on Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for Homes and how designers and architects can work toward achieving LEED certification.
After the discussion please join us for lunch provided by Vinwood Catering, enjoy a bite to eat and the opportunity to continue the discussion with our panel.
