Revisiting a favorite project4 Min.
We’re revisiting a favorite project in the blog this week. This gorgeous NH country home is a family institution. It has been the venue for weddings, birthdays and family reunions over the years hosting hundreds of friends and family members. There is no typical for this house. At times there are only two in the house, but it has often welcomed over 50.
Floor: Eastern White Pine. Island: Reclaimed Antique Oak + Barroca soapstone. Perimeter cabinetry: White painted finish with Barroca soapstone. Baking Island: Red painted finish with solid Maple countertop and mixer lift.
The 80-acre property provides many fun outdoor activities from tennis, swimming in the pool or nearby Newfound Lake for boating in the summer. Cross Country skiing in the winter or downhill skiing at nearby resorts and the family’s favorite activity, exploring the woods with the kids and trying to follow the paths cleared by Grandpa.
