JF Customer Review – Making Soapstone DIY Dreams a Reality4 Min.
Relationship: Home owners who consulted and purchased soapstone for a major Soapstone DIY kitchen remodel
We purchased $2,400 worth of soapstone for our counters to complete our Soapstone DIY kitchen remodel. We visited first the Jewett Farms & Company website which was most informative and useful in forming our decision to use soapstone as a countertop material. Next we visited their showroom and received the information and attention we needed from Linda to select which type of soapstone. Next we visited their stoneyard and viewed the actual slabs of soapstone which were gorgeous! There, we met with Olivia who was most informative and helpful in guiding us in making our selection.
The soapstone was delivered by Mr. Murphy who helped us bring the soapstone into our kitchen as well as placing it on our base cabinets. In our garage, Mr. Murphy also demonstrated for us with some sample pieces what we needed to do to properly cut, sand and bond in order to make the proper installation.
We were at first very nervous about using this type of material as well as installing the counters ourselves. But, after receiving all the information and advice from the staff at Jewett Farms, the process was so easy! To date, installing the soapstone countertops was the easiest part of our DIY kitchen remodel!
The staff at Jewett Farms went above and beyond to help us. We are not done with our kitchen remodel and have one last thing to do which is build our kitchen island and we will purchase the soapstone to make the countertop from Jewett Farms & Company very soon!
Thank you Jewett Farms & Company for everything. We will send you pictures of our beautiful new kitchen as soon as it is done!
