After design has been perfected, after cabinets built and laboriously finished then carefully wrapped for delivery – Finally it’s the time that each of our homeowners eagerly awaits – Install! This is when the abstract becomes reality and all those carefully planned, meticulously crafted details come together to create a dream kitchen.
To fully appreciate the after – you have to see the before… Dated? yes. Functional? sort of… Unless you want to open both the oven and the dishwasher that is. Definitely time for a fresh look and a more streamlined design.
Watching a kitchen come together is pretty neat, prior to delivery day, during the initial construction, all the cabinets, drawers and doors are numbered so that there is no confusion during their dry fit, post finish fit and final install.
Drawers and cabinets and Island – Oh my! This kitchen features a mix of painted maple perimeter cabinetry and a natural white oak island. As you can see, all JF cabinets are constructed with full tops, this creates stability and makes life a lot easier when waiting on countertop install!
Mid-install – the hardware is starting to go on (no more blue tape), appliances have been delivered and the cabinetry is leveled and secured in place. This is a pretty exciting time for the homeowners who can start to get a feel for how their new kitchen will function.
The kitchen is complete. Ready for food, laughter and years of enjoyment.
