JF Cycling + PMC 6 Years Together

Jewett FArms + Co. Pan Mass Challenge

For the 6th consecutive year, JF Principal Mike Myers is taking on the challenge of the PMC.  Each year the Pan-Mass Challenge brings together thousands of impassioned cyclists, committed volunteers, generous donors and dedicated corporate sponsors. Their mission is to provide Dana-Farber with the necessary resources to discover cures for all cancers, and PMC raises more money than any other athletic fundraising event in the country. We are so proud of Mike for his commitment to the PMC.

Jewett Farms + Co. Pan Mass Challenge“This will be my sixth consecutive year riding in the PMC for Logan Schoenhardt. Logan is 9 and will be turning 10 on August 25th. He was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 3. He has been battling cancer for nearly 7 years. He had a great summer, fall and winter this last year – was in remission and enjoying being in school full time, participating in sports and lots and lots of hanging with friends. The spring, however, brought a new growth and yet another experimental treatment plan. He seems to be tolerating the treatment relatively well, but has suffered some paralysis on the left side of his face, causing it to droop (and making Logan feel self conscious – something he has never been before). Regardless, Logan is the toughest person I know, enduring an amazing amount of pain and discomfort with an unreal determination and motivation. And his parents, well, what do you say about Matt and Josephine – if ever there was a story of pain, sacrifice, commitment and all encompassing love and joy – they are truly amazing.” Mike Myers

On behalf of Mike, all of the Jewett Farms + Co. team ask for your donation, of any size, to support the amazing research and cancer care from the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Last year this event single-handedly raised 45 million dollars – 100% of what is raised is donated. All the fees the cyclists pay go to cover all the administrative costs of the Pan Mass Challenge. All the support that goes into this weekend is 100% donated and on the back of volunteers. Every bit of your donation goes for care and to find a cure.

Please support Mike as he rides for Logan and raises $4500 to support the tireless pursuit of finding a cure as well as the care needed for those suffering from cancer today.
