Looking back to move forward

9 Min.

Well hello 2024. And hello to our 25th year in business! We couldn’t be more excited about all the things we have planned for this year, you’ll have to stay tuned as we reveal some big moves for our 25th year. In the meantime let’s take a look at all the great events, accolades, and projects of 2023.

We were honored to be recognized by two of the leading luxury interiors magazines. Modern Luxury Interiors awarded us Best Custom Cabinetry in their Best in Luxury Design Awards. Boston Home named Jewett Farms + Co. as Best of Boston in Kitchen Design. I’d say we covered all our bases there!

We were also featured in those very magazines, as well as others. Our work graced the covers of both Boston Home Magazine (Kitchens Issue) and FDMC. Modern Luxury Interiors Boston, Boston Home, and Northshore Home all featured our work in editorial spreads and other mentions.

2023 was a fun year for events at our Boston Design Center showroom, from workshops about cheese, flower arranging, and broom making, to an expert panel discussion on paint colors, industry mixers, and even a magazine launch. We capped off the year with an incredible Gingerbread Design Challenge that is still being talked about and will definitely be returning for 2024.

We launched some fun new initiatives this year, for our clients and within our cabinet shop. A couple of our favorites were the project completion box, a handcrafted oak box that is delivered with our cabinetry. It contains all the goodies – a paint touch-up kit, adjustment tools, instruction videos, and a full set of plans to name a few. In the cabinet shop, we invested in a new dust collection system that collects all our hardwood sawdust and turns it into burnable briquettes – effectively turning our waste to fuel.

2024 is our 25th year in business. 25 years of growth and change, 25 years of creating beautiful spaces, and helping cabinetmakers master their craft. 25 years of designing and building spaces that nourish and shelter people. It’s been a journey and we are nowhere near finished.
