A Fall Market theme hand-made for Jewett Farms + Co. Please join us for a Quick Talk at 1 pm in the JF showroom, where we will delve into the details of how to scale a business based on craftsmanship without compromising quality.
Join Jewett Farms + Co. Founder Matthew Lord and Head of Design Paula Accioly for a discussion about scaling craftsmanship into a successful business. Jewett Farms + Co. was founded by a sole craftsman 26 years ago and has grown into a successful business while remaining steadfastly true to its guiding principles of craftsmanship.
Paula and Matt will delve into the practical and philosophical elements necessary to create an environment that fosters creativity and boundary-pushing, keeping quality and craftsmanship at the forefront of everything they do.
The Quicktalk will be followed by an interactive craft where six people will be chosen by raffle to join Matt and build a Rift White Oak tray that will be theirs to keep. People may enter the raffle at any point throughout the day. Names will be drawn immediately following the chat, and participants must be present and ready to get started!
Other guests are welcome to stay and watch; cheese and wine will be served.

Matthew Lord is the founder and co-owner of Jewett Farms + Co. Way back in 1999, Matt left the snow and fun of Colorado to return to his home in New England and start the business that would become Jewett Farms + Co. He rented a small woodshop in York, Maine, and got to work. Matt has guided JF throughout the last 26 years, transitioning from being the doer of all things to overseeing the larger picture.
If you have visited the Jewett Farms + Co. Boston showroom, then you have probably met Paula Accioly. Originally from Brazil, Paula has been part of the JF team since we opened our first showroom in Boston. Paula is the company’s Head of Design and leads our design and tech teams. Paula’s design ideology is centered around making the functional more beautiful, and she focuses on designing spaces that will add value and longevity for her clients.
JF Content creator and marketing director. Olivia loves beautiful spaces, inside and outside. When she’s not writing and talking about gorgeous kitchens Olivia can be found riding her bicycle around the country.
