Cover Story Worthy Kitchen

4 Min.

“When an Essex couple first approached Paula Accioly, they desperately needed a fresh set of eyes. It was 2016 and the couple was in the midst of planning their first shared home. Built on a site brushing up against marshlands and all order of natural beauty. But there was one major hiccup: they weren’t fond of the kitchen. A vanilla-looking design centered on an L-shaped layout, a seen-it-before island, and unexceptional details.” – Jeff Harder, Northshore Home Magazine.

The story of this kitchen, transformed from dated to timeless, can be found in the summer 2019 issue of Northshore Home Magazine. You can find photos of the kitchen on the Work page of our website.

The apparent simplicity of this design conceals a ton of storage and utility elements that make this kitchen incredibly functional. The space behind the range is made up of built in, floor to ceiling pantry storage on the right. And to the left is a recessed coffee station with pocket doors, with pull outs for storage beneath.

With smart design, fresh ideas and some beautiful materials, Paula was able to create a cover story worthy kitchen that fit perfectly in the environment of the home. And will remain a classic beauty for years to come.
