Cable Rd.

Overview

New Hampshire's coastline is short, but beautiful. Much like this kitchen, which may be small, but packs a punch in terms of fresh design and innovative ideas. This 2019 Clark Kitchen Design 2nd place award winner is a gem on the coast of NH.

Part of the family

The most fun part of this project was that it was for people familiar to the JF Team. The homeowners had found us to design and build the kitchen in their previous house. They had purchased a new home, smaller as their kids flew the nest, and closer to the ocean. They wanted a more contemporary feel but with the same craftsmanship they had become accustomed to in their last kitchen.

A fresh perspective.

We helped the homeowners see their space in a completely different way. A fresh set of eyes to present design ideas they had not considered. This kitchen needed not only new cabinets but a new layout that played with the architecture of the small space. By removing a window and bringing some pantry space into the kitchen, it allowed us to create a niche area that became an interesting focal point and also very functional. This also created more circulation space in the kitchen and the opportunity to make the island larger and fit more storage and cool Wolf appliances.
