Lanark St.
Overview
This fresh transitional kitchen lies within a traditional historic brick home in Massachusetts. The owners, a busy young family, wanted a kitchen that would speak to the home's traditional craftsmanship but give them a clean, open and beautiful cooking and entertaining area.
Clean line and fresh colors
This kitchen offers multiple work areas including a breakfast bar with storage and a small desk area, perfect for this busy family. The kitchen area was opened up to offer clean lines of sight throughout the space, a necessary design element with two young children in the family. The couple wanted to avoid the heavy look of upper cabinets so JF designer Paula incorporated a tall countertop cabinet that divides the long counter space and provides ample storage.
