Overview
This Portsmouth, NH home underwent a massive transformation from dated cottage to open and welcoming modern home with a mid-century modern vibe. The fun and vibrant colors and materials reflect perfectly the energy of the homeowners. This project was fun from start to finish.
blooming with color
Gorgeous rift white oak contrasts beautifully with the bright yellow wall cabinets. The contemporary style feels modern yet well crafted. A pull out pantry creates even more storage in the wall unit which also houses the double ovens, fridge and small appliances.
Mudroom perfection
A great mudroom is the key to happiness when you live in New England and this is a really great mudroom. With Scandinavian inspired design elements and tons of storage this room serves as a welcoming entry into the home and a functional place to store gear for all seasons.
office and bathroom and built-ins oh my!
It's always fun when we get to create more spaces within a home and we were fortunate enough to design and build a gorgeous first floor bathroom that includes a vanity with ceiling height storage area (those rollouts!). We also created an office space (check out the printer slide out), beautiful entertainment unit, seating banquette with storage and coat closet.
