Overview
During the renovation of this historic Boston home the original brick was revealed, and the decision was made to leave it exposed. This element impacted the design of the kitchen and gave the space a distinctly Boston feel.

A custom wall unit opens to become a home office area, then closes away to hide the daily grind.
The cabinet design mixes smooth beige cabinets with walnut accents, perfectly balancing natural wood grain, painted finish and natural brick.

Materials + Specs
- Cabinetry: Tradtional single face frame, inset cabinetry in Maple and walnut. Finished with a combination of clear waterborne urethane and sprayed finish.
- Countertops: Brazilian Stormy Black Soapstone.
- Sink: Custom Barroca soapstone sink.
- Floating Shelves: Reclaimed Pine finished with clear waterborne urethane.
