FUNCTIONAL MEETS BEAUTIFUL
Soapstone is more stylish and more beautiful than you remember from school chemistry labs. As a non-porous and naturally anti-bacterial surface, it is able to withstand the rigors of a working kitchen.
As the exclusive New England distributor of M. Teixeira Soapstone, we have some of the most varied and beautiful soapstone slabs available. The slabs can be viewed, touched and chosen at our full-service stone fabrication shop in Dover, NH. Our Boston Design Center showroom is the perfect starting point with displays of installed soapstone countertops and samples of different stone types.
Our soapstone countertops are fabricated from 1 ¼” thick soapstone slabs. The dense, slightly soft nature of soapstone means that seams in the counters are sanded smooth and are virtually invisible. Over time soapstone develops character, but it can be brought right back to its original perfection with light sanding and a fresh application of mineral oil. Soapstone is impervious to heat and, because of its non-porous nature it is also naturally anti-bacterial.Request a quote + samples
